At Red Doors Tattoo Studio, your health and safety are our top priorities. We strictly adhere to international sterilization standards. All needles are single-use and opened in front of you, with ink pots discarded after each session. Our artists use nitrile gloves during tattooing and maintain a sterile environment throughout the process, ensuring a safe and hygienic experience.
We use only the finest materials to guarantee quality and comfort. Our tools include premium-grade needles, professional tattoo inks, and Butter Cream for preparation and healing. Unlike studios that use cheaper alternatives, we avoid technical-grade vaseline, ensuring better healing and a superior tattoo experience. Every client also receives a second skin bandage and Bepanthen ointment for optimal aftercare.
Pain levels vary depending on the individual and the location of the tattoo. Areas like the ribs, armpits, chest, feet, and groin tend to be more sensitive. While some discomfort is expected, most clients find it manageable.
๐ฉน If you have Second Skin film:
- Keep on for 24โ48 hours.
- Some fluid under the film is normal.
- If fluid is minimal โ keep it.
- If fluid builds up too much, forms large bubbles, or edges peel โ remove film completely.
- Wash gently with warm water + mild soap, pat dry.
- Start regular care: wash + thin ointment layer 2โ3ร daily.
- Avoid gym, sweating, swimming (pool, sea, bath) 7โ10 days.
- No sun exposure/tanning for 1 month.
- Do not scratch or peel.
๐ฉน If you have bandage/wrap:
- Remove after 2โ4 hours.
- Wash gently with warm water + mild soap.
- Apply thin layer of healing ointment.
- First 1โ3 days: you may re-wrap at night or under clothes. Always use a fresh, clean wrap.
- During the day โ better to keep open.
- No swimming 2โ3 weeks, avoid sun 1 month.
- Avoid gym/active sports 7โ10 days.
General rules:
- Always wash hands before touching tattoo.
- No alcohol, peroxide, iodine.
- Avoid tight or dirty clothing.
- Healing time: 3โ4 weeks.
